Nice list. There is a lot of good stuff on here. Open Office and Firefox are great free programs. Audacity is a must for editing and cutting music loops. Filezilla is another good one. It's one of the best and easiest free file uploaders out there. keep up the good posts.

@Iain - well there is no public faq/tutorial on how to configure FlashDevelop 3 and haXe to work together on FlashDevelop forum. On haXe pages there is plugin for FlashDevelop2 but it is said it will not work with FlashDevelop 3 but FD3 has haXe support built in. My tries to make it work together ended up FD3 throwing errors saying I does not know some syntax of haXe 2.02...

So in short I haven't found info on haXe and FD forums about that and didn't had time to bother with it too much right now.

I wonder what Nicolas is using to write code for his variation of AS3 :)

I have few questions about 1 tough. I only started to be interested in haXe and FlashDevelop and had some problems. Which versions you use and do you know some tutorials on how to configure them together.

Tried to use haxe 2.02 with FlashDevelop 3 but it does not work and installing FlashDevlop2 seems to be bothersome process and I am not shore it will provide code hinting/auto completion and other stuff for new haxe 2.02 and up versions. Can you advice something here?
